What makes us different

Why Manufacturers Choose Lake Over Every Other SyteLine Partner

Manufacturing Only

Discrete manufacturing is the only thing Lake does — every customer, every project, every conversation. The team has walked the aisle in 800+ plants and speaks the operator's language before the consultant's. When you describe a setup problem or a rev change loose on the floor, you don't have to translate.

SyteLine Depth — 40+ Years

Lake has stayed on the same ERP platform — through every rename, every parent company, every major release — since 1983. That continuity means a partner who already knows your config, your industry, and the shortest path between where you are and where you need to be.

Proprietary IP

Shop-Trak, Doc-Trak, Fact-Trak, and APS-ME are not third-party plug-ins we resell. Lake built them inside SyteLine, using SyteLine's data model, and has maintained them through every major release for decades. No other Midwest SyteLine partner has a product line of their own.

OnTrak Training Program

OnTrak is Lake's customer training and adoption program — the answer to the most common reason ERP investments underperform: the people running it never get fully trained, and the people who were trained eventually leave. OnTrak keeps your team competent and your processes consistent long after go-live.

Practical Implementation Experience

The senior consultants who scope your project are the same people who will be on your floor. Most of our team came out of operational manufacturing roles before they ever sat across the table from a customer — they've run the schedule meetings and the ECO backlogs you're trying to fix.

Measurable Outcomes

Lake measures success by what changed on the shop floor — not by the go-live date. Throughput per machine, schedule adherence, labor capture rate, days to close the month. We pick a small set of operational metrics with you up front, and we're still measuring them three years later.

The products no other SyteLine partner built

Every Trak-Suite product runs inside SyteLine — no rip-and-replace, no parallel system to maintain.

Our Office

Midwest-first. On-site when it matters.

Lake is headquartered in De Pere / Green Bay, Wisconsin — and from there, most customer plants in Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Iowa, and Minnesota are a half-day drive or less. When Infor identifies a SyteLine prospect in the Midwest, Lake is the partner they want implementing it — because Infor evaluates resellers on the same thing manufacturers do: projects that land and customers that stay.

Forty years is a long time to be wrong about manufacturing.

When you call Lake, the first conversation is about your operation — your scrap, your schedule slippage, your visibility gap. It's not a pitch. It's a real conversation with someone who's solved the same problem 800+ times.
