The Lake Companies receives U.S. and European Patents for Shop-Trak™
The Lake Companies is pleased to announce that we have been awarded separate U.S. and European Patents for Shop-Trak™, which is technology that monitors and controls complex manufacturing environments, using the Internet of Things (IoT), proximity-based reporting, and control software.

Shop-Trak, created for Infor’s SyteLine® ERP, was enhanced in 2020 to deliver on The Lake Companies’ Never Search Again™ transformation. Shop-Trak provides a unique yet simple, elegant, and powerful real-time user experience to shop floor workers, shop managers, production schedulers, quality control technicians, and C-Level executives.
The Patents apply specifically to managers, executives, schedulers, and quality personnel as they walk the shop floor and interact with their associates. This takes managing by walking around to an entirely new level. Through using a tablet without any user input, Shop-Trak quickly finds the work center/machine nearest to the individual on the shop floor, as well as the jobs being worked on, the current job schedule, with touch screen, real-time feedback on up/downtime, utilization, efficiency, quality, job status and more, without ever searching for the information.
