Manufacturing ERP Sales (Minnesota)
The Lake Companies, Inc. is a 25 year provider of ERP software and services. We are seeking talented, energetic candidates with a can-do attitude for this Outside Sales position to grow our Minnesota territory. Prior success calling on medium sized manufacturing companies ($20 - $100+ million) is preferred. The ability to control a moderate to long sales cycle and the ability to prospect is a necessity. A proven history of success is required.
This position requires a strong record of prior outside manufacturing software sales success and the confidence to develop and maintain quality relationships with new prospects and existing customers. The right candidate will provide a consultative sales approach and offer creative solutions to help customers reach their business objectives.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and aggressively grow sales in designated geography through prospecting, cold calingl and relationship development.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers through effective account management and service. Leverage these relationships to maximize revenue opportunities with new prospects.
- Live in market area while working out of home office. Candidate will work from home and be responsible for attaining specific revenue and account base goals.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, with 2-3 years of proven ERP account management and sales experience is essential.
- Familiarity with the discrete manufacturing marketplace.
- A proven outside sales and account management track record.

- Work closely with Pre-Sales Consultants to present and articulate our solutions/advantages.
- Offer creative solutions to help them reach their business objectives.
- A strong background with the Internet and Microsoft Office® applications is a must.
- Well organized with strong relationship building skills.
This is a Salary plus Commission position with unlimited potential!
